March 12, 2011 : Met up with a booking today but we called it off in hopes of better conditions and sun tomorrow. So I paddled out at the only clean spot. Had a friend most of the time cruising with me... a small seal. I was able to snag a few great shots today even though it was a little mixed up and cloudy. Enjoy.

March 09, 2011 : Cold and small. Motivation was needed today to get in the water. But after asking a girl who just got out of the water as I rolled up around 7:30am, if she had fun... I had no choice but to head out. She had fun and had to go to work. So I took a deep breath and suited up. After two minutes in the line up, I was happy I paddled out. The people is what makes days like these enjoyable. Enjoy.

March 08, 2011 : You ever hear that saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Well, I experimented today with my settings in my first session. And you'll notice that some photos will look soft (out of focus). They will still look good on your desktop or in print but some will not look tack sharp. So in the second session, the photos towards the end of the gallery... those are the ones that I captured with my usual settings. So apologies... it won't happen again. Enjoy.

January 19, 2011 : Good friend Adrian and I headed south of the border in hopes of scoring some good waves at one of my favorite right hand point breaks in the world. January 14, 2011 : Another day in paradise. I swam 1/2 mile at the Cove this morning... in my speedo tighs. Holy crap, that was cold. When I got to the parking lot, I was still cold 'at the core', as Julia (new friend) put it. I also met up with Bob from Bob's Mission Surf Shop as he was coming out of the water. I was able to convince him to get back out there for a few more for the camera. I'm stoked he did. He got a bunch of cool pix that you'll see in the beginning of the gallery. Good job Bob! I'm starting to see some familiar faces out ther now, which is always cool. And I'm continuing to meet new people with cool ass vibes. I love it. After I dried off and put my camera away, I had an awesome discussion with Chris from Surf Indian Surf Shop and Gallery about... indians. I was very enlightening. And I can't wait to continue on the topic. So there you have it. A small blog type intro the this morning's photos. Enjoy.

January 11, 2011 : I've been wanting to shoot this new spot after I heard that the morning vibe is awesome and mellow. Just what I like. So this morning, I drove down to the parking lot and was a little hesitant about getting out there because it was kinda small. But then I saw a longboard lady pull up, take one look and started to suit up. That inspired me to do the same. And the rumors were right, this place is mellow and cool. Met a bunch of new people and everyone was out there having a great time in the awesome California sun. I plan on splitting my time between here and the other cool beach that I usually frequent. Great meeting everyone and I hope you like your photos. Enjoy.

April 10, 2011 : New adventure to a new break. I never know what to expect when I finally make it out to new line up. Hard nosed short boarders? Territorial old school longboarders? Aggro bodyboarders? Suspicious SUPers? Well, today was none of those. In fact, the vibe was awesome. Once everyone knows I'm not going to get in the way and that I'm shooting for from them, everything seems to fall into place. Good vibes today. Great meeting everyone. Enjoy.

April 11, 2011 : It was small and I didn't have much time to shoot but the sun was out so I went out anyways. It's always cool seeing the SUP girls down the beach having fun. And seeing all the familiar faces is great too. With rumors looming that the water warmed up, I decided to skin it for the short photo session. Halfway through, I switched it up and got on a longboard. Good times! Enjoy.
